Missoula to Explore Resilience Through Connection at Free Cycles Event 

Missoula, MT – Missoulians are invited to come together for an inspiring evening on Friday, May 23rd, at 6:30 PM at Free Cycles (732 S. 1st St. West). Hosted by nonprofits Ecocity Builders and Free Cycles, this engaging event will focus on exploring a multi-stakeholder cooperative model as a pathway to creating sustainable and socially thriving communities. 

Event Highlights:

  • Insight: Local practitioners will present emerging solutions in sustainable design, resource management, innovative energy systems, transportation, and green economies.

  • Interaction: Engage in breakout groups to collaboratively brainstorm practical solutions that prioritize a healthier, more sustainable Missoula.

  • Engagement: Share your ideas and weigh in on priorities for creating a cooperative model tailored to Missoula's needs.

  • Connection: Network with fellow community members while enjoying light refreshments.

Missoula has long been a model for collaboration, and cooperative models are deeply rooted in Montana's history, particularly in agriculture and energy. This event will explore how a cooperative framework can expand into new areas to amplify positive change locally and beyond.
