Paradox Players

Paradox Players is a theater making space.

February 21st, 10-12pm is the launching workshop. 

Recurring sessions on Thursdays of March and April 7-8:30pm. 

This is in preparation for an Earth Day performance. 

The Earth needs your art!

Suggested donation ~ $5-$25. 

Nobody is turned away for lack of funds.

Located in Free Cycle’s Street-Side space, just down the sidewalk from the main shop door (right at the corner by the gravel lot)

A theater making space for artists of all disciplines, 18 and up, who are eager to make art that could help heal the Earth.

For artists of diverse abilities who are passionate about expressing themselves through theater, movement and dance. 

For creatives who have a passion for helping humans wake up to new realities with their art. 

For artist-activists who feel exhausted from trying to save the world and wonder why nothing seems to be helping.

For sapiens who are not scared to ask uncomfortable questions about who we think we are as humans on this planet and turn them into artistic expression. 

First community appearance during Earth Day celebrations. Venue TBA.

What to expect during the workshops:

-All abilities interactive theater play inside and outside when possible

-Creativity and imagination workout for all artistic disciplines

-Radical collaboration and depolarization practice

-Trauma informed facilitation

Your facilitator, ecosapien a.k.a. Penélope Baquero, has over 30 years of experience as an interdisciplinary artist, educator, working with diverse communities in many countries, pushing the boundaries of arts based eco-activism
